Faculty of Administrative Sciences
It was established as one of Alsharg Ahlia College programs in 1996, in correlation with Higher Education policies to expand university studies in quantity and quality.
- It began its activities in Economics and Administrative Sciences programs; awarding Accounting and Administrative diploma to fill the shortage of qualified financial and administrative accountants in Kassala State.
- In 2014, the Economics and Administrative Sciences program was separated into Economics, Banking programs and Administrative Sciences program. The Administrative Sciences program included three disciplines: Accounting discipline, Business Administration discipline and Marketing discipline.
- In 2023, the Administrative Sciences program was upgraded to the Faculty of Administrative Sciences.
- The Faculty includes three departments: Accounting department, Business Administration department, and Marketing department.

A pioneering faculty with a leading and creative role in education, scientific research and community development in the fields of Administration, Accounting and Marketing.
Mission
A faculty with scientific curricula and research according to the highest international levels of knowledge; taking into account community development in Eastern Sudan according to the market requirements.
Objectives

To professionally Prepare qualified cadres to take the responsibility of jobs burdens in Sudan, whether in the government or private business sectors.

Developing educational program of the faculty in correlation with developments in technical means. Expanding the use of computers in fields of accounting, administrative and marketing work in the government and business sectors.

Raising the level of teaching performance in correlation with the requirements of faculty in future by attracting unique scientific competencies. Expanding the appointment of academic excellence graduates.

Assisting in efforts exerted to develop the profession through co-operation with official professional bodies in fields of regulating the profession practices and the market needs.

Encouraging students to enter the market as entrepreneurs by working to build a private sector with a high degree of science armed with knowledge and science.

Providing advanced curricula which are consistent with local, regional and international standards to meets the market requirements.

Departments

Department of Accounting
It was established in 1998. It began to provide Bachelor’s and Diploma programs in Accounting since its establishment. In 2013, the department offered a Higher Diploma program and a Master’s degree in Accounting.
The department is keen on excellence in teaching and scientific research to qualify its students with theoretical knowledge and scientific application to meet the market. The courses of Bachelor’s in Accounting program are designed on the foundations and standards that are based on the experiences of national and international universities and national, regional, international professional bodies. In addition to benefiting from the accounting education standards issued by the International Federation of Accountants.

Business Administration Department
It was established in 1998. It began to offer Bachelor’s and Diploma programs in Business Administration since its establishment. In 2013, the department offered a Higher Diploma program and Master’s degree in Business Administration.
The department is keen on excellence in teaching and scientific research to qualify its students with theoretical knowledge and scientific application to meet the market. The courses of Bachelor in Business Administration program are designed on the foundations and standards that are based on the experiences of national and international universities and national, regional, international professional bodies. In addition, to benefiting from the requirements of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment regarding the self-evaluation project.

Marketing Department
It was established in 2014. The department works through the integration of its Staff and students to promote the philosophy of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences.
The department is keen on excellence in teaching and scientific research to qualify its students with theoretical knowledge and scientific application to meet the market. The courses of Bachelor’s in Marketing program were designed on the foundations and standards that were based on the experiences of national and international universities and national, regional, international professional bodies. In addition to, benefiting from the requirements of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment regarding the self-evaluation project.
Academic Degrees
The faculty awards the following degrees:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration and Marketing after credit hours, curricula, teaching plan, evaluation and assessment have been approved to obtain the degree by the governing Scientific Boards of the university.
- Intermediate (3years) Diploma in Accounting.
